Sav:

Sav:

Joe:

Sav:

Viv:

Fricke:

Joe:「

Fricke:

Phil:

The Story So Far 解説動画 その3 Sav編

www.youtube.com

Another track is like about from 'The Story So Far' Disc1,
is one of my all time favorite, it's Hysteria.

It's one of those song that never ever kind of get tired of listening ,too,
never ever get tired of play.

For me it's the highlight of the night we play the song,

There are just special bond between the audience and the band, particuraly on that song,

I don't really know why, it's just we also come together and
it's just one of those songs it's like band love, crowd love, is the mutual appreciation,

And I remenber comming up with a verse idea, it's just like the very simple jungle,

when we were recoreding, we were in Paris recording some of the tracks of Hysteria album,

and I just kind of play did and Phil play did, and Joe, Joe didn't like inicially

I think I remember saying himself it sounds too much like Paris song, we shouldn't be going there

and I... maybe OK I play did the Phil and said "No, it's fantastic it's brilliant, by the way I got these .."   Phil on to it, and I feel like this idea for that bridge, ' I gotta know tonight,..'which was literally glued, on the the end of this idea I had.

And from them too much of ignored,

and I think pretty much soon and after Steve came up of the idea of just at the chorus chode, the little guitar parts of each in it,

By that point we got Mutt get involved, you know, him & Joe was basically finished of,

that was we didn't have a title, when Mutt & Joe came out of Hysteria idea, that when Rick thought what we should call the album

It's a great album, it's a great title.

Oh we went yet playing the song is it became is, so the album trucks
of the album Hysteria to me it's kind of...greatest hits songs all right
it's one of my favorite songs,

it's the best to play every single night,

It's one of the few songs I still listen to,

That's cool.

Hi, this is Michel, Coconut Flick Florida.

I saw Viva! Hysteria 2 times in Las Vegas, very excited that you guys are prittines moving out.

I would like to know why Joe sings lyrics of David Bowie's Heroes at the end of Hysteria sometimes and, it was plain to have  such an impromptu things?

I love it when you does it, thanks.

(最後の行、you does...

Joe

(Joe

Why do I sing Heroes at the end of Hysteria? Because it has same code sequences pretty much, and I just start going it reharsals one day for a laugh, then I did it once on the stage and I couldn't stop doing it, then I stopped doing it because somebady tell me to stop doint it,

(Sav

Then start again.

(Joe

Then start agein.

It was just one of the things pretty much impromptu, I did it bunch of times.

Hi, Joe & Sav, Casey Goodrichard in Wyoming,

I just want thank you guys for your residency in Las Vegas
in March I have priviledge to see you guys,

one of the 2 nights you're recording,
I was damn fan when I saw myself and my son & daughter,
jamming out the Sugar on the back drop
that was really cool, thanks a lot to doing that.

My question would be if, you guys traveling from city to city,
like see in the stage you guys travel by coach,
If you want to travel by coach, you have a favorite car, you could pick from
what would that be to travel to & from your gigs?
Thanks a lot! Keep rocking guys!

Sav: Wow Casey, what kind of car would we prefeir...?

The problem is, I would atomaticaly go with one my favorite car it should be a Maseratti, but the problem is that is...that  I would have to drive it, and the sort of drivin' after a show... kind of feels me dreading in fact, I get, I acctually, just be on a bus  filled me with dread after a show, but yeah I do like in  parchal to the Maseratti, I need to get there pretty quick.

Sav:

Joe: I, would have to have a car that would be, somewhat, re-shaped inside,
I mean a bed on the back, you know how's gonna drive, I don't know what's my fovorite car, it is, I'd be in some kind of 4 X 4, because it's has more room, and it's pretty confortable. I've got a couple of sports cars, you know, in a  bit  tricky after a gig that I don't wanna be drive one of them.

Hi Joe. Hi Sav, My name is Sasha  and I'm from London,
I lived in Sheffield for few years and I still go back all the time.
So, I was wondering which cases or venues, in Sheffield did you begin Def Leppard , and all that venues you still .....(←ここ聞き取れませんでした)
how does it feel looking back from steel city so far you came,
and also obviously most imporant quenstion,
Blades  or Owls?
Thanks guys!!

Joe: Taking the last one first... I'm a blade.
Sav: ...and I am the blue half of the sheffield city.

Joe: In early gigs, first gig we have played was 'Westfield School' , which is now been bomed, knock down and turned into...I think it will be re-build or ....

Sav:Yeah, I was up there few years ago with my son was playing soccer, it's not what it was, it's been flatted and different building were elected, in and around area.

Joe: We also played 'Dial house' , 'working men's club' right next to the Steve Clark's house  and it was just knocked down and turned to the flat.

Sav: Yeah, one of them of my favorite places from back then was 'The Limit Club' on west street, it was sence kind of re-opened I believe, or I don't know whether it's lasted. But yeah 'Limit' was kind of cool、’couse we  sometimes hang out socialy as well  that's why we got involved and thrown out...

Rick Savage interview~ Metal Journey

Sav:    Wow! 2014, December 2014. I've not step into this place since 1979 I believe. It's bigger thanI remenber.

Fortnately, it was not as empty as the last time around here.

Interwiewer, Sam:  Big Time!

Sav:   Absolutely!

Sam:  Tell me about this place. Where are we?

Sav:  This is now called Clocks Social Club. Previously known as Clocks Workingmen's Club.

I was actually born 5 mitutes walk from here. It's the hub of the community, especially Friday Saturday night , you know it's cheap beer and bingo on it.

It's also typical northan working-class (sort of a) community. We played here, back in '79.

I think it was the 7th or 8th gig we ever did. We do gig like this just to try and raise a few pounds to buy musical equipments. Because we did gig like this because it was the workingmen's club.

The kind of expecting to Beatles'  Song as well as your own. And it was we really want to do to realize , you know, "We have to pay the bill. We have to pay the Thin Lizzy song".

Sam:  I have a setlist.

Sav:  No.... Wow!  "ROSALIE" I forgt we used to do that song. It's amasing, really I mean, I love this stuff actually from the first album, Wasted, Gacha Rocks Off. That was...I can't, I can't actually believe it,  I was actually singint it.

It was actually quite , quite big gig for us, 'cause me & Joe literally stione throws away, lived here, and grow up here, that was self creating, it was little pressure in your own community.

Just wondering how's the gig's gonna go, you know, your parents gonna be there and their friends, and our friends as well you know.

I would be 18 at the time, it hold what a fun memory for us.

It was one of the stepping stone, you know, fou us to go to the next level.
